1 Peter 3:14-16
But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. Δοῦλος - doulos
a slave, man of servile condition
1. a slave, purchased man
2. one who gives himself up to another's will. One whose service is used by Christ in extending and advancing his cause among men
3. devoted to another to the disregard of one's own interests
Matthew 7:15-20

Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? 17 "So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 "A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. 19 "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 "So then, you will know them by their fruits.

Sound doctrine helps us delight in God, because it teaches us how delightful He is.
