Pray that the sufficiency of the Word will create a fervently praying church.

Matthew 6:9-13 - "Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 'Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. 11 'Give us this day our daily bread. 12 'And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 'And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.']"

Philippians 4:6 - Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

The ACTS model of prayer:

A – Adoration (Verse 4)
C – Confession (Verses 5-14)
T – Thanksgiving (Verse 4 & 15)
S – Supplication (Verses 15-19)

We see Jesus in intercessory prayer. Be like Jesus, intercede in prayer on behalf of others.

Hebrews 7:24-25 - "24 but Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. 25 Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them."

Romans 8:33-34 - "33 Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; 34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us."

We pray for God’s sake, for the sake of His kingdom.
