Slide: Tradition:
2 Thess. 2:15 So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word [of mouth] or by letter from us.

Col 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.

Slide: Question 2: Is then men and women in general, husbands and wives, or women and church leadership?

Slide: Some fundamentals of headship:
All are under authority.
Authority produces order and is for our good.
Authority does not equal superiority. Under authority does not equal inferiority.

Slide: 2 Cor. 3:12 Therefore having such a hope, we use great boldness in [our] speech, 13 and [are] not like Moses, [who] used to put a veil over his face so that the sons of Israel would not look intently at the end of what was fading away. 14 But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ.
