Romans 13:1-2
Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.
Philippians 2:3-4
Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; 4 do not [merely] look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
Ephesians 2:8-10

Sound doctrine and good deeds cannot be separated.
• Sound doctrine produces sound deeds.
• Right thinking leads to right living.
• Orthodoxy produces orthopraxy.
• Good beliefs lead to good behavior.
• New birth produces new life.
Your deeds are the indicator of the purity of your doctrine.
