Therefore, I will always be ready to remind you of these things, even though you [already] know [them,] and have been established in the truth which is present with [you.] 13 I consider it right, as long as I am in this [earthly] dwelling, to stir you up by way of reminder,



Jesus was a worshiper, and He seeks true worshipers.



John 4:23
"But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.



God chose you in the foreknowledge of your struggles.



1 John 2:1-2
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; 2 and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for [those of] the whole world.

To watch and pray is a great weapon against temptation.
