Slide: 1 Corinthians 14:27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, [it should be] by two or at the most three, and [each] in turn, and one must interpret; 28 but if there is no interpreter, he must keep silent in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God.

Slide: On prophecy:
Speaks to men for edification, exhortation, and consolation

Slide: John 14:16 "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; ... 26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Slide: 2 Corinthians 1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ. 6 But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; 7 and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers of our sufferings, so also you are [sharers] of our comfort.

Slide: Not spooked by the Spirit:
The gift of tongues is not a body takeover!
Prophecy does not rival Scripture!

Slide: The importance of a gift is based on the usefulness to the church, not the gift itself.
