Jesus calls us to go — to carry His love and truth into the world.
At The Chapel, we’re grateful to be part of that mission. God has blessed us with people who are passionate about sharing His Word, both at home and across the globe. Witness is part of our DNA, and as long as the Lord leads, we’ll keep taking the Good News to those who haven’t heard it yet.
How We Approach Missions
We believe missions isn’t just about travel — it’s about obedience and everyday faithfulness. Our goal is to equip every believer to share the gospel right where they are (the priesthood of the believer - Ephesians 4:12, 1 Peter 2:9), while also sending teams to support what God is doing around the world.
Each trip partners with long-term missionaries we already have a relationship with. Our teams come alongside them to help accomplish their vision, serve their communities, and encourage their ongoing ministry. We go to bless, to learn, and to return home changed — carrying a deeper burden to pray and support the work God is doing through them.

FAQs
Who can go on a mission trip?
Mission trips are open to those who have a personal relationship with Jesus and a desire to serve others. Some trips may have age requirements or specific team needs, but most are open to adults of all ages. If you’re unsure whether a trip is the right fit, check out the trip descriptions below or send us a message!
Do I need to have previous mission experience?
Not at all! Many people go on their first trip with The Chapel. You’ll receive training and preparation before you leave, and you’ll be part of a team that learns and serves together. What matters most is a willing heart and a posture to listen, learn, and love people like Jesus does.
How are the trips chosen?
We spend time in prayer as we plan each year’s short-term trips, seeking God’s guidance in where He wants us to serve. Every trip is built around long-term partnerships with missionaries and ministries we already know and trust. Our teams come alongside their ongoing work -- encouraging their efforts, supporting their vision, and helping advance the gospel in ways that fit the local context.
How much do trips cost?
Trip costs vary depending on the location, duration, and ministry type. Costs typically include travel, lodging, meals, and ministry expenses. Specific trip budgets are provided in the trip descriptions below. Don’t let finances hold you back -- God often provides in surprising ways.
How do I raise financial support?
We’ll walk with you through the support-raising process. You’ll get tools and guidance for communicating your mission, writing support letters, and inviting others to partner with you through prayer and giving. Many people find that raising support becomes a meaningful part of the journey itself!
What kind of work will we be doing?
Each trip is different, but all center around relational ministry -- building connections, serving alongside local believers, and sharing the love of Christ through both words and actions. Some trips may focus on outreach events, university ministry, or prison ministry, while others might involve practical service or medical care.
How long are the trips?
Most trips last one to two weeks, depending on the destination. Dates and duration are listed for each trip below.
Do I need to speak another language?
No language skills are required. Most trips provide opportunities to serve in contexts where English can be used, and translators or local partners are available when needed. Your role is to walk alongside people, build genuine relationships, and share the hope of Christ through words and actions as guided by God.
What’s the process to join a team?
All interested participants should complete the online application at the bottom of this page. The registration deadline for each trip is January 11, 2026. Applications are reviewed prayerfully, and applicants will be contacted with next steps, including training and preparation meetings leading up to the trip.
What if I can’t go but still want to be involved?
You can still play a vital role! Every trip needs prayer partners and financial supporters. You can give toward a team’s expenses, pray for the missionaries we partner with, or encourage someone who’s preparing to go. The Great Commission takes all of us working together.
