Theme: “Speak, for Your servant is listening.”

Micah 3:6-7

Therefore [it will be] night for you--without vision, And darkness for you--without divination. The sun will go down on the prophets, And the day will become dark over them. 7 The seers will be ashamed And the diviners will be embarrassed. Indeed, they will all cover [their] mouths Because there is no answer from God.

Amos 8:11

"Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord GOD, "When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the LORD.

Proverbs 29:18

Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, But happy is he who keeps the law.

Can You Hear Me Now: Experience often limits our perception of God’s voice.

Can You Hear Me Now: To have a relationship with God, we must be born again.

John 3:3, 6, 16

Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." ... 6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. ... 16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Can You Hear Me Now: Put yourself in position to hear God’s voice.

Can You Hear Me Now: God speaks to the one with a humble, obedient heart.

2 Corinthians 7:10-11

For the sorrow that is according to [the will of] God produces a repentance without regret, [leading] to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death. 11 For behold what earnestness this very thing, this godly sorrow, has produced in you: what vindication of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what avenging of wrong!

Can You Hear Me Now: “God speaks by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church to reveal Himself, His purposes, and His ways.” (Henry Blackaby, from Experiencing God)

Can You Hear Me Now: This all assumes that our Creator desires relationship with us!
