Theme: Who sits on the throne of your life? Can you say, take the world and give me Jesus?”
How can Christians overcome the greatest trials and sufferings we experience in life?
• We must seek our comfort in the Lord.
• We use that comfort to serve others.
• Through the continual filling of the Holy Spirit for self-control.
• By storing up treasures in heaven, not here on earth.
Return of the king:
• It’s the kindness of God that leads to repentance.
Romans 2:3-4
But do you suppose this, O man, when you pass judgment on those who practice such things and do the same [yourself,] that you will escape the judgment of God? 4 Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
Return of the king:
• Love covers a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:7 The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober [spirit] for the purpose of prayer. 8 Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.
Return of the king:
• Our love for Jesus needs to grow beyond any earthly thing.
Luke 14:26
"If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. 27 "Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.

'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
