What should I do when God is silent?

Deuteronomy 18:9-15

"When you enter the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to imitate the detestable things of those nations. 10 "There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12 "For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD; and because of these detestable things the LORD your God will drive them out before you. 13 "You shall be blameless before the LORD your God. 14 "For those nations, which you shall dispossess, listen to those who practice witchcraft and to diviners, but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you [to do] so. 15 "The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him.

What should I do when God is silent?

Look back to what God has spoken.

Leviticus 20:6

'As for the person who turns to mediums and to spiritists, to play the harlot after them, I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.

What should I do when God is silent?

Be filled with the Spirit.

And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit…

What should I do when God is silent?

Search for any chametz.

Exodus 12:15

'Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, but on the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses; for whoever eats anything leavened from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel.

1 Corinthians 5:6-7

Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump [of dough?] 7 Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are [in fact] unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.

What should I do when God is silent?

Consider your future and repent.

Lamentations 1:9

Her uncleanness was in her skirts; She did not consider her future. Therefore she has fallen astonishingly; She has no comforter. "See, O LORD, my affliction, For the enemy has magnified himself!"

1 John 5:16

If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not [leading] to death, he shall ask and [God] will for him give life to those who commit sin not [leading] to death. There is a sin [leading] to death; I do not say that he should make request for this.

Luke 12:16-20

And He told them a parable, saying, "The land of a rich man was very productive. 17 "And he began reasoning to himself, saying, 'What shall I do, since I have no place to store my crops?' 18 "Then he said, 'This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. 19 'And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years [to come;] take your ease, eat, drink [and] be merry."' 20 "But God said to him, 'You fool! This [very] night your soul is required of you; and [now] who will own what you have prepared?'

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 10:13

for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
